If you have comprehensive auto insurance coverage your cost may be $0. Most insurers will waive your deductible if you choose repair vs. replacement.
If you put off repairs too long...replacement may be your only option. Temperature extremes & car washes can increase the chance that your stone chip damage will get worse.

Can it be repaired?
If you can cover your damage with a quarter & you cannot feel the break from the inside of the vehicle - we can most likely achieve a successful repair. (However, chips that are in the drivers line-of-sight are not repairable.)
Can you see it after it is repaired?
The appearance of the broken area is greatly improved, but it does not disappear completely. Your vision from inside the vehicle should not be impaired - or your windshield will have to be replaced. Stone chips usually look better after repairs, however the important part is assuring the structural integrity of your windshield.
